As you climb the ladder of success, check occasionally to make sure it is leaning against the right wall.
Hi, this is the part 2 of my series of articles about siege weapons, I have already talked about their cost, so now I will learn you how to use them & in which situation
Uses and functions :
To my mind, all sWeapon are made for their own purpose, and you don’t need to build the most expensive one to be successful during a siege. Keep in mind that depending if you are attacking or defending, some sweapon will be great or complete garbage.
There’s 2 types of siege weapons : the ones you build with a blueprint and the others that you can find on predefined spots (from tower & keep structure upgrades).
Both those weapons require supplies to be built (which you can get from camps or supply depot in your towers and keeps).
So the first category is the “blueprint siege weapons”, those blueprints can be buy from 2 currencies : gold (which you obtain through PvE or as a reward) or badge of honor (which you get from killing an enemy player in WvW).
Hey, I hope you’ve like the first part of my WvW Map series. (Part 1)
We will see now the rest of the specific locations to get know with, let’s start it !
Stonemist Castle is the fortress in the center of the Eternal Battlegrounds. It is the biggest structure in World versus World, an army of NPC defending it and has an outer and an inner wall. As such it also reward the most point (50 per 5 minutes) to the World holding it. If you seek very large scale battles, I bet you will often find them there.
World Versus World (WvW) is a one of the PvP mode of Guild Wars 2. It stands in a persistent open world where 3 servers battle for large-scale domination for 2 weeks. This world is made of 4 Maps : one for each server (Borlis Pass Borderland, Anvil Rock Borderland & Yak’s Bend Borderland, respectively own by Red, Green and Blue teams) and a contested central map (Eternal Battlegrounds which starting neutral)
To seize his domination, each server has to conquer and hold the most objectives he is capable of, in the goal to be granted Points to the War Score and earn Bonuses for his World. At the end of the 2 weeks, the World(server) with the most points is declared Winner.
